Day 3: Memphis, TN

Yesterday was an interesting day.  We woke up in Nashville and headed downtown for lunch at the Wildhorse Saloon.  It was really cool--live country music while you eat your meal!  We left Nashville that afternoon and headed to Memphis.
Kevin had a couple mishaps along the way (which he has given me permission to share with you :).  When we stopped to get gas, Kevin pulled up to the pump while the kids and I were playing a game at the table.  He got up to go pump the gas and all of a sudden he realized, we were moving!  He had forgotten to put the RV in park before he got up and we were slowly rolling towards a parked car!  He ran to the driver's seat and hit the brakes seconds before we plowed in to another car!  I know it must have been amusing to anyone watching!  Then, as if that was not enough, he left the parking brake on on the car that we're pulling all the way from Nashville to Memphis so now the back brakes are pretty much gone.
So far there has been one "Do you want me to turn around and drive home?" threat and a few minor meltdowns but we're still on track.  Today we are going to see Graceland, home of the king of rock and roll.  Then we plan to go to Beale Street to walk around and have dinner.   It is hot as fire here so our AC is working extra hard but we're doing good and enjoying the adventure!
