Day 3: Niagra Falls, ON Canada

Well, we made it!  We are camped in the amazing Niagara Falls, Canada.  We did make a quick stop in Buffalo because my good friend Sarah, who is from Buffalo, told us we had to have some Buffalo wings...and we did!  We stopped at Duff's and had some great wings and roast beef on weck.  I had to ask, but weck is a roll they make in Buffalo that has salt and caraway seeds on top--really good!
No trouble crossing the border and we had set up camp and made it to the Falls by 3:30.  They are beautiful! It is so amazing to see something that you've seen in photos all your life, up close and personal.  My kids thought it was cooler than the Grand Canyon!
Today we did the Whitewater walk which is a boardwalk that runs right along side the white water rapids of the Niagara River that run off the Falls.  Then we rode the Aero Cable Car.  It hangs from a cable that runs across the rapids over 200 meters in the air. (They use the metric system here and I just have a hard time translating it!  Tomorrow's high is 31c.  Still don't know what that means but I know it's hot!).  The cable car is almost 100 years old!
One of the most spectacular sights was the rainbow that was over the Falls tonight.  It was just beautiful to see!  Reminded us of God's promise!
Tomorrow we hope to ride the Maid of the Mist--the boat that takes you right up to the base of the falls.  There is so much to do here!  According to our shuttle driver, it is the number one tourist destination in the world followed by Paris and then Vegas.  Thanks for checking in!

Amazing!  God is good!
