Day 2: Nasville, TN

Well, we have made it through the first 10 hour day of driving and are still speaking to each other!  Actually, the kids did well for a whole day in the RV besides a few "How much longer?'s".  We got in to Nashville last night around 8:00 our time but it was 7:00 here with the hour time zone change.
We were pretty beat but decided to go down to Music Valley just to see what is there.  It's right down the road from Opryland.  There was not a lot that interested us but we did visit "Cooter's Garage", a Dukes of Hazzard museum.  For some of you, that may not mean much but for me, Bo Duke was my dream guy in 5th grade!  They even had the poster on display that I had on my wall!  (I ended up taking it down because the eyes seemed to follow me around the room and I was getting dressed in my closet!)  It was fun to see the General Lee and the other memorabilia from that decade.
Then we walked next door to Willie Nelson's museum and general store and tried on some fab cowboy hats!  We were pretty pooped by then and came back to the RV (after a McDonald's stop for ice cream) and watched a couple episodes of "I Love Lucy".  I've got the kids hooked!  (the Vitameatavegamin episode is their favorite!)

So today we'll spend the morning in Nashville and head to Memphis this afternoon.  I'll add a few pics from yesterday!!
