Day 4:Headed through Arkansas

Yesterday we toured Graceland.  Lily fell back in love with Elvis again--the real one this time, not the impersonator!  The mansion was neat to see--it's not over-the-top compared to the mansions of stars today but very cool to see it. I took a little spill at the shops at Graceland.  I stepped off the side of the sidewalk and my ankle gave way under me so I went down--hard.  I hit both knees, both hands and dropped the camera.  Don't worry, the camera's OK.  I am fine but I do have two nice sized strawberries on my knees.  We also toured the Lisa Marie, his airplane named after his daughter.  I'll post some of the photos below.
That evening we went downtown to check out Beale Street, where the blues rule. :)  It was closed off to cars for a big 4th of July celebration so we could walk around in the streets taking in the sights--like the off-key Michael Jackson cover band that just kept singing "Billie Jean" over and over.  I think it was the only song they knew.
We came back to the RV after Beale Street, watched a couple episodes of "I Love Lucy" and went to bed--but our night wasn't over then.  Carson came in to our room around 1:00 dancing around because he had to go to the bathroom and the door was locked!  No one was in there which was the big problem.  Let me tell you--Kevin and I would not make good thieves!  He tried a credit card, coat hanger, twist tie (I know--I thought that was a weird choice too!) with no luck.  Then I worked on it with the coat hanger a bit too but I couldn't get it either and by that time, we both had to pee!  Anyway, Kevin got his tool box and used a screwdriver to pick the lock.  I told him to get Carson so he could go to the potty now but he told me Carson had to go so bad, that he let him go in a tupperware container!  Gross!  I told him to just throw that container away--who would want to eat out of that anymore??  He already had thrown it out so please don't be worried when we serve you anything out of tupperware in the future! :)
That's it for now!
The top 2 are from Elvis' living/piano room and the bottom is us having lunch at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville.

Elvis's grave at Graceland.

On Beale Street--I just thought this sign was funny!
