Today was a good day. We drove from Memphis to Little Rock, AR which is only about a 3 hour drive. We took the kids downtown to the Peabody hotel to see the famous Peabody ducks (which we missed at the Memphis Peabody by about 15 minutes). The ducks are marched in to the hotel lobby by the Duckmaster General every day at 11:00am on a red carpet. They spend their day frolicking in the hotel fountain in the lobby and then at 5:00, they after marched back out on the red carpet and onto the elevator to retire for the evening. It is a very cute sight to see and the kids loved it!
Then we went out to eat downtown but escaped before the big 4th of July celebration so we didn't get stuck in traffic for hours. Downtown Little Rock was a neat place to visit and we enjoyed strolling around. I'm adding a short video of the ducks swimming in the fountain. Hope you enjoy it!
Tomorrow we're off to Oklahoma City.
