Day 1 & 2: Traveling to Sandusky, OH and Cedar Point

Well, this trip did not start off exactly as planned.  The day we left, Carson and Lily both were getting over the stomach flu.  Not ideal but we knew they could rest on the drive but then, the first night on the RV, Zack came down with the bug and by the next day, it had taken me down as well.  The only one to avoid it was Kevin (thank goodness! Who would drive??) and today we had our tickets to go to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH.  So, 4 of us are getting over this bug and it rained on and off all day.  I was about ready to go take a nap in the van!
We bought ponchos which helped some but some of the rides were closed due to the weather.  The arcade became our home for an hour or two!
The park is very nice and if you love coasters, this is the park for you!  I don't even know how many there were but they had some intense ones!  It would have been a great day besides the weather and sickness but we plowed through and ended up having a pretty good day.  When life gives you lemons, right?  I just thank God that we are on the upswing of this thing and tomorrow will be a more relaxed day.  We are driving to Detroit, MI to visit with some of Kevin's relatives and hopefully, have a wonderful visit!
